Molecular Microbiology’s Women’s Health Testing system

Background
The Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) has issued a solicitation for a non-personal services contract to provide software licenses, service, support, and maintenance for a high-volume molecular microbiological nucleic acid amplification testing instrument system.

This requirement aims to enhance the capabilities of the NMCP's Microbiology Department, particularly in relation to Women's Health testing. The contract will result in one firm fixed price agreement.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services and products:
- Lease of two (2) High-Volume Nucleic Acid Amplification Testing Analyzer Systems and one (1) High Volume Aliquoting Processing System.
- Cost-Per-Test Agreement including consumables (reagents) and maintenance support services.
- Specific tests include Chlamydia/Gonorrhea testing, Trichomonas testing, HPV testing, HPV genotype testing, Bacterial Vaginosis testing, and Candida vaginitis testing.
- The contract includes maintenance support services for the analyzers for the following periods:
- FY 25: 12 Months
- FY 26: 12 Months
- FY 27: 12 Months
- FY 28: 12 Months
- FY 29: 12 Months
- Extension for an additional 6 months if needed.
- Equipment must be certified for use in US hospitals adhering to UL and/or JACHO requirements.

Period of Performance
Base Year from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026 with four option years extending through June 30, 2030.
