Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, is issuing this solicitation for Mohs Surgical Technician Services. The goal of this contract is to provide essential surgical technician services for Mohs micrographic surgery at the VA Medical Center in San Francisco, ensuring high-quality care for veterans requiring dermatological procedures.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide Mohs Surgical Technicians and necessary equipment to perform on-site services as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Key responsibilities include:
- Providing a cryostat for specimen processing.
- Arriving by 8:00 AM and maintaining the cryostat and work area.
- Completing and maintaining the Mohs log and appropriate paperwork for tissue handling.
- Marking, orienting, embedding, cutting, and staining specimens for analysis by the Mohs surgeon.
- Observing safety precautions and cleaning the laboratory area post-use.
- Handling 10-20 cases solo without compromising slide quality or wait times, producing slides within specified timeframes.
- Providing Immunochemistry staining materials as needed per patient lesion site.
- Invoicing based on the number of lesions treated rather than the number of technicians provided.

Period of Performance
The contract has an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) structure with a total period of performance from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2030. It includes five ordering periods spanning one year each.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed on-site at the VA Medical Center located at 4150 Clement Street, San Francisco, CA 94121.
