Background
The Naval Air Warfare Center Training System Division (NAWCTSD) in Orlando, FL, is seeking potential small business sources to procure five (5) Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Modular Shallow Water Egress Trainers (MSWET).

This procurement is part of the Naval Aviation Survival Training Program (NASTP) and aims to enhance training for students on underwater emergency egress from aircraft post mishap. The trainers will simulate aircraft inversion following water entry and are essential for familiarizing students with emergency procedures.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of five (5) COTS Modular Shallow Water Egress Trainers with the following specifications:
- Designed to rest securely on a pool bottom, initiating training scenarios from a fully submerged condition.
- Provide reference points that rotate with the student during dynamic training.
- Incorporate a five-point restraint system with an Emergency Release System (ERS).
- Include a seat that can be reconfigured to simulate different aircrew positions for both fixed and rotary wing aircraft.
- Windows/doors/hatches must be reconfigurable to replicate various aircraft Type/Model/Series.
- Achievable roll rate with 2 instructors shall be no more than 6 seconds.
- Maximum weight shall be less than 450 lbs.
- Must be free of sharp edges, corners, and protrusions.
- Constructed of 304L stainless steel to withstand prolonged exposure to swimming pool water without degradation or corrosion.
- Ability to roll the device on a pool deck and include attachment points for lowering into and out of the pool.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance is expected to start in the second quarter of Fiscal Year 2026.

Place of Performance
Deliveries are required at two Aviation Survival Training Centers: NAS Pensacola, FL and MCAS Miramar, CA.
