This jusification is published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.305(a). The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ), on behalf of the Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), Newark, NJ Field Office executed modification no. P00063 under contract no. ODT-5-C-0010 on a sole source basis to CoreCivic, Inc. (DBA CoreCivic) (Unique Entity ID: HJGMJN1JKL46). This modification extends the contract for up to 12 months allowing additional mission critical detention services at the Elizabeth Contract Detention Facility (625 Evans Street, Elizabeth, NJ 07201).

Background
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ), on behalf of the Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), Newark, NJ Field Office executed modification no. P00063 under contract no. ODT-5-C-0010 on a sole source basis to CoreCivic, Inc. This modification extends the contract for up to 12 months allowing additional mission critical detention services at the Elizabeth Contract Detention Facility.

Work Details
Under contract no. ODT-5-C-0010, CoreCivic manages and operates the Elizabeth Contract Detention Facility, providing ICE comprehensive secure detention services for detainees. The modification will include a 6-month base period and a six 6-month option period extending services for up to an additional 12 months. The estimated total value for 12 months is $19,913,376.
