Modernize 6N Inpatient Restrooms (Swing for 3N)

Background
The Overton Brooks VA Medical Center (OBVAMC) in Shreveport, Louisiana, has a requirement titled 'Modernize 6N Inpatient Restrooms (Swing for 3N)' for project number 67-27-130. The goal of the contract is to enhance patient care facilities by replacing outdated restroom units with modern, VA-approved assemblies.

Work Details
The project involves replacing ten inpatient restroom Patient Care Units (PCUs) in the 6N ICU, which currently have combination swivette toilet, sink, and cabinet units. The new installations will consist of fixed toilet-sink-cabinet assemblies that are comparable to or better than those in the 3N ICU. The contractor is responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the project. Work planning must include phased construction to minimize disruption to adjacent occupied areas. Some tasks may need to be completed after hours or on weekends due to the sensitive nature of the work.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.
