Mobility Prototyping MAC Solicitation

Background
The Mobility Prototyping MAC Solicitation is issued by the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane, specifically the Mobility Systems Engineering Branch (MXPQ). 1. Design, development, engineering, fabrication, and testing of prototype components for various DoW vehicles including Ground Mobility Vehicles and Joint Light Tactical Vehicles.

2. Conducting concept reviews and detailed design prototyping for verification of requirements defined in individual Delivery Orders (DOs).

3. Each DO will require delivery of a final prototype or test report that meets specific Statement of Objectives (SOO) requirements.

4. The work will be divided into four Technology Areas:

a) Powertrain Performance Prototyping;
b) Advanced Chassis, Body, and Mobility Handling Prototyping;
c) Mobility Testing Services;
d) General Prototype Fabrication and Integration.

Each area focuses on specific improvements such as powertrain performance enhancements, chassis modifications for better handling, comprehensive mobility testing services for prototypes, and integration of fabricated components into deliverable prototypes.
