Description

Contract shall provide Mobile MRI and Technologist Services to include all the necessary personnel, supervision, equipment, transportation, materials, supplies and training to perform the services as specified herein. Service shall be performed at any West Texas VA Healthcare Facility, including both owned and/or leased facilities, main and/or community-based outpatient clinics where indicated.

Background
The West Texas VA Health Care System is seeking to enter into a contract for Mobile MRI and Technologist Services. The goal of this contract is to provide necessary personnel, supervision, equipment, transportation, materials, supplies, and training to perform MRI services at various VA healthcare facilities in West Texas. This includes both owned and leased facilities as well as community-based outpatient clinics.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a mobile 1.5T MRI coach and MRI Technologist services at station 519 (West Texas Healthcare System). Services are required five days a week, except federal holidays, with operational hours from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

The contractor is responsible for the installation and setup of the mobile unit according to industry standards and OSHA regulations. Responsibilities include transportation of the mobile MRI coach, ensuring patient safety during procedures, maintaining equipment in optimal working condition, securing patient information per HIPAA guidelines, and conducting quarterly environment of care rounds.

The contractor must also ensure that all patients have signed MRI orders and complete necessary assessments prior to scanning. Additionally, the contractor will be evaluated based on performance metrics related to access to care, key personnel credentials, mandatory training completion, image quality studies, and invoice accuracy.

Base Year: From 06/26/2025 to 06/25/2026; Option Year 1: From 06/26/2026 to 06/25/2027; Option Year 2: From 06/26/2027 to 06/25/2028; Option Year 3: From 06/26/2028 to 06/25/2029; Option Year 4: From 06/26/2029 to 06/25/2030.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within the West Texas VA Healthcare System including Big Spring VA Medical Center and several clinics in Abilene, San Angelo, Fort Stockton, Hobbs (NM), and Odessa.
