Background
This is a repair and replace maintenance requirement for 16 mobile armory containers for 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion (2D Recon Bn) located on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The containers are designed to provide the appropriate level of security for weapons and optics, as well as a climate-controlled environment to protect the equipment from environmental factors. Time and weather have damaged and degraded the 16 containers, requiring repair to return them to an acceptable usable condition. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to perform the repairs outlined within this section.

Work Details
The work includes repair, replacement, and maintenance requirements for 16 mobile armory containers. This encompasses tasks such as repairing and disposing of rotted wood flooring and plywood pallets, replacing floor joists and solid blocking with hardwood matching existing thickness, installing new plywood flooring and wall panels, installing LED strip lights, electrical services including demolition and installation of receptacles and dehumidifiers, hazmat services as outlined in the Performance Work Statement per base safety removal process, and procurement of supplies and materials such as dehumidifiers, wood supplies for repairs, and electrical supplies for repairs.
