Included in this Special Notice are Drafts of Sections B, C, K, L, and M of the Moab Remedial Action Contract Request for Proposals (RFP). This Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) is NOT a formal request for proposal. Proposals are NOT being requested or evaluated at this time. A Final RFP will be released at a later date for which interested parties may submit proposals.

Background
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is issuing an updated procurement schedule for the Moab Remedial Action Contract (Moab RAC). This contract is part of the DOE Office of Environmental Management's mission to manage and remediate environmental hazards. The goal of this contract is to develop a Final Request for Proposal (RFP) based on feedback from interested parties regarding the Draft RFP released for review.

Work Details
The Draft Request for Proposal (RFP), Solicitation No. 89303320REM000066, includes Sections B, C, K, L, and M related to the Moab Remedial Action Contract procurement. The purpose of this Draft RFP is to solicit questions and comments from interested parties to assist in developing a Final RFP. The contract will be an Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Cost Reimbursement (CR) and/or Fixed Price (FP) task orders. Key elements include:

1. A 'Closure Strategy' for project completion through effective sequencing of excavation and disposal cell construction.
