MO-Swan Lake NWR Ferris Mower With 2 Trade-Ins

Background
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) is issuing this solicitation for the procurement and delivery of a commercial zero-turn riding mower to support the operations at Swan Lake National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) located in Sumner, MO.

The goal of this contract is to replace existing government-owned mowers through a trade-in program, ensuring that the new equipment meets specific performance and quality standards.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of one (1) commercial zero-turn riding mower, brand name or equal to the Ferris ISX2200, including the trade-in of two (2) existing government-owned mowers.

The salient characteristics for the mower include:
- Engine: Minimum 28 gross horsepower, commercial-grade gasoline engine with Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI), minimum 810 cc displacement, two-cylinder V-twin configuration, and a commercial engine lubrication system.
- Transmission: Dual commercial-duty Hydro-Gear ZT-4400 transaxles or equivalent with an integrated cooling fan system.
- Cutting Deck: 60-inch fabricated commercial cutting deck made of heavy-duty steel, featuring a foot-operated deck lift and adjustable cutting height from approximately 1.5 inches to 5 inches.
- Suspension: Independent front suspension system comparable to Ferris ForeFront™ Suspension or equivalent.
- Tires: Front caster tires approximately 13 x 6.5-6 and appropriate turf drive tires for a 60-inch mower.
- Fuel Capacity: Minimum 11-gallon capacity.
- Safety Features: Foldable Roll Over Protection System (ROPS), operator presence safety system, parking brake, and adjustable twin steering controls.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from August 3, 2026, to September 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to Swan Lake NWR at 16194 Swan Lake Avenue, Sumner, MO 64681.
