MK6 Life Extension

The Strategic Systems Programs intends to contract with The Charles Stark Draper Laboratories Inc., (CSDL) Cambridge, MA to provide the effort to ensure that the TRIDENT guidance systems are sustained through their product life cycle. The contractor shall perform detailed analysis of all factory and fleet performance data and lead the development of alternative technologies to mitigate product obsolescence. The contractor shall provide program management, administration, engineering, contracting, configuration, and process control for the maintenance of the MK6 guidance system to insure that it meets all system performance objectives; including cost, electrical and mechanical interface control intended for high accuracy instrumentation applications. This contract will be awarded to CSDL, Cambridge, MA, 02139-3539. The Government does not intend to use Part 12 for the acquisition.
