MK41 Vertical Launch System (VLS) Test System Procurement   12

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division intends to issue a solicitation for a sole source, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Teradyne Inc., 700 River park Drive, North Reading MA 018468 for an Automated Test System (ATS) unit and additional system hardware and software product-defined services to implement a fully functional, complementary nine (9) units ATS system to screen MK41 electronic circuit card assemblies' (CCAs). This period of performance is anticipated to be for one five year period. Responsible sources may identify their interest and capability which shall be considered by the agency. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to complete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice is a synopsis and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it is not a commitment by the U.S. Navy to procure the subject services. Firms interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Teradyne, Inc. directly. It is anticipate that the solicitation will be issued on or around 26 July 2022 and will be open for 30 business days. Contract award is anticipated at approximately 20 April 2023.
