Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), Indian Head, MD negotiated and awarded a $3,691,091.00 Firm Fixed Price (FFP) indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to Golden Engineering Inc. of 6364 Means Road, Centerville, IN 47330-9609 on 26 September 2023. This contract is for a maximum of 125 XR150, 125 XR200, 125 XRS-3, and 125 8 XRS-4 portable X-Ray machines per year. This contract includes options, which if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $21,099,092.46.
This was a sole source procurement to Golden Engineering Inc. based on the authority provided in FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Sources or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Golden Engineering is the only vendor who can perform this requirement without substantial delay or duplication of costs to the Government.
