Background
The solicitation N0017422R0098 is for the manufacturing of MK22 Motor Tubes. The contract is issued by the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) for the assembly of MK 22 Rocket Motors. Work Details
The contract includes several items to be delivered: Base First Article Testing (FAT) for 10 units, Base Year Motor Tubes for 1,350 units, Base Year Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) for 1 unit, Option Year I Motor Tubes for 600 units, Option Year I CDRLs for 1 unit, Option Year II Motor Tubes for 600 units, and Option Year II CDRLs for 1 unit. The work involves manufacturing motor tubes using specific drawings and complying with various standards such as ANSI/NCSL Z540.3, ASTM D3951, ASME B1.3, CFR 22 CFR 121 and 122, DoD Directives 5230.25, MIL-STD-1916, MIL-E-16663, A-A-1689, ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, SAE AS6174, SAE-AMS-STD-595. The contractor is responsible for fabricating all necessary tooling to manufacture and dimensionally inspect the components.
