MK19 Grenade Machine Gun (GMG)   3

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, on behalf of the Office of the Project Manager, Individual Weapons (PM-IW), hereby issues request for proposal (RFP) for the production and delivery of the MK19 40mm Grenade Machine Gun (GMG) and associated spare parts and spare barrel assemblies. The contractor shall manufacture and produce the MK19 MOD 3 GMG in accordance with the MK19 MOD 3 GMG Statement of Work (SOW) at Section C of Request for Proposal and the MK19 MOD 3 GMG Technical Data Package (TDP). In addition to the MK19 MOD 3 GMG, the contractor shall provide spare parts kits, and barrel assemblies, both of which shall be in accordance with SOW and TDP. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, supplies, services, facilities, and equipment to perform the requirements of the referenced Statement of Work (SOW), Request for Proposal (RFP) and Technical Data Package (TDP).

The intent is to award a single source Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with 4 one year ordering periods and a guaranteed minimum value of $500,000.00. The weapons purchased under this contract will be used to fulfil Foreign Military Sale requirements received by the U.S. Government.

The MK1940MM MOD 3 GMG (NSN 1010-01-490-9697) is an air-cooled, blow-back operated, belt-fed, automatic weapon that fires 40MM grenades from ground mounts and vehicles. The Government will require the fabrication, in-process inspection, First Article Testing, ongoing Lot Acceptance Tests and delivery of weapon systems manufactured to the U.S. Government Technical Data Package.
