Description

This requirement is for the acquisition of MK 96 MOD 2, Bag Assembly, Cold Gas Fleet Exercise Section including first article production of bag and strap components, production quantities, and optional production quantities. This Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) supply type contract was procured under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(7) - Public Interest Exception under Special Emergency Procurement Authority, Class Deviation 2024-O0005. Full and open competition was not conducted based on a determination that it is not in the public interest for this particular acquisition.
