MK 41 VLS Electronics Depot and Design Agent (FY25-FY29) Request for Information (RFI)   2

ID: VLS003C • Type: Presolicitation

Description

The Government is seeking sources or parties interested in performing MK 41 Vertical Launching System (VLS) Mechanical Design Agent, Electronic Design Agent, and Electronic Depot Operations requirements.

NAVSEA is providing a DRAFT Request for Proposal (RFP) for Sections A through K for industry review and comment. An excerpt of Section L which explains how offerors will bid for the three requirements is also included. This draft RFP does not and will not include Section M, Nor will it include the remainder of Section L. Nor does it include attachments at this time, other than the TDP which may be obtained by following the instructions below. The Government plans to divide the Design Agent RFP into three parts, Electronic, Mechanical, and Electronic Depot Operations. Parties will be able to bid for one, two, or all three parts.

Authorized contractors are encouraged to review the draft RFP and provide comments. To be an authorized contractor, the contractor shall be a United States Department of Defense contractor with an approved DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement, approved and on file at the Defense Logistics Agency's website.

It is anticipated that performance of the Mechanical and Electronic Design Agent requirements will require a classified facility. The Electronic Depot Operations requirement will not require a classified facility.
