Description

Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division - (NSWC IHD), Indian Head Maryland, intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis with BAE Systems land & Armaments L.P., Armaments System Division, Louisville, KY 40124-2683. The contractor shall provide all necessary material and services required for the procurement and support of an Ordnance Alteration (ORDALT) to modify the MK38 MOD1 Machine Gun System (MGS) as specified in Statement of Work (SOW).
BAE Systems Land & Armaments L.P., ASD, is the only known company with the requisite technical qualifications and facilities to perform this work within the required period.
