Mk 110 Mod 0 Gun Mount FY20-24 Production Contract

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a contract to BAE Systems Land and Armaments (Minneapolis, MN) for the production of Mk 110 Mod 0 57-mm Gun System for FY20-24 requirements. The Mk 110 Mod 0 Gun System is designed to provide highly effective defense capability against certain air threats such as, cruise missiles and aircraft along with surface threats such as, patrol boats, small watercraft, jet skis, and ground-based lightly armored or thin-skinned targets.

This contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

BAE is the only existing source possessing the requisite knowledge and expertise of the Mk 110 Gun System to satisfy the Government's production requirements within the required schedule.
