Background

Work Details

Key tasks include:

1. Submission of an Accident Prevention Plan that includes a description of the project, magnitude, major scope of work, and locations.

2. Daily inspections to ensure safety requirements are met, with reports maintained at the job site detailing inspections and corrective actions taken.

3. Submission of various safety forms including ENG Form 6206 (Activity Hazard Analysis), ENG Form 6292 (Site-Specific Safety & Occupational Health Plan Worksheet), ENG Form 6293 (Accident Prevention Plan Worksheet), and ENG Form 6282 (Site Safety and Health Officer Designation Letter).

4. Development of a Dive Plan addressing safety measures for diving operations as per EM 385-1-1 standards.

5. Erection and maintenance of safety signs at designated sites, conforming to specified requirements.

The primary location for this contract is the Mississippi River Southwest Pass, with potential work in other areas of the New Orleans District, Galveston District, Mobile District, and any other areas deemed necessary.
