Background
The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District is issuing this Sources Sought Notice for informational purposes only, related to the construction of a Missile Munitions Distribution Facility and Rail Classification Yard at Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

The goal of this contract is to determine the availability of Brand Name items necessary for the project, which will be conducted under the authority allowing for sole sourcing if no equivalent products are available.

Work Details
The construction project will involve the installation of specific Brand Name equipment:

1. SIGCOM DTX Fire Alarm Radio Transmitter: This transmitter is essential for ensuring that all facilities at Letterkenny Army Depot can receive and decode fire alarm signals from the central receiving station operated by the Letterkenny Fire Department. A compatible radio transmitter along with its associated antenna and appurtenances must be specified.

2. Federal Signal Mass Notification Receiver: The new facilities must include a mass notification system as required by Code (NFPA 72, UFC 4-010-01, and UFC 4-021-01) to alert occupants to non-fire emergencies. This system requires a radio receiver manufactured by Federal Signal to ensure compatibility with existing signal receiving equipment due to proprietary communication protocols.
