Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District is conducting a market survey to identify sources for Siemens electrical panelboards, switchboards, and breakers for the FY-24 Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Ground Test Facility Infrastructure (GTFI) project located at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The GTFI includes conversion of approximately 163,466 SF of existing administrative space to data center, RDT&E laboratories, and updated administrative space.
The GTFI also includes a 14,138 SF one-story building expansion for electrical gear housing.

Work Details
The work involves the renovation and modernization of approximately 163,466 SF of space utilizing existing Siemens panelboards and switchboards. The Siemens equipment is essential to meeting the Government’s requirements and maintaining compatibility with existing house systems.
Interested firms are required to provide manufacturer's name, product data, written statement of compliance with stated requirements, necessary backup design information, supporting documentation, and a list of projects in which the equipment has met similar requirements for similar applications.
