Minsav Call 05 "Talos"   5

Background
The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Sensors Directorate (AFRL/RYD), is seeking to advance the design and fabrication of commercial and Government-developed sensor generation and processing microelectronics technologies. The goal of this contract is to mature, verify, assure, and deliver next-generation national defense capabilities to critical Department of Defense (DoD) systems through robust experimentation and testing.

This initiative is part of the Microelectronics Innovation for Next-generation System Advancement and Validation (MINSAV) program, specifically under Call 05 titled 'TALOS'.

Work Details
The contractor will conduct research and development activities as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). Key tasks include:
1. Development of prototype systems that demonstrate microelectronics capabilities for DoD-related applications such as autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, precision navigation and timing, electronic warfare, data processing, spatial/spectrally agile technologies, and strategic applications.
2. Delivery of research data as specified in Exhibit A, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs).
3. Development and delivery of software that includes all software developed or acquired during the project.
4. Delivery of hardware in accordance with the SOW requirements. The contractor must identify unit acquisition costs for all deliverable end items where applicable.

Place of Performance
The work will primarily be conducted at locations designated by the contractor, which must comply with the requirements set forth in the solicitation.
