Description

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) awarded a Hybrid Cost Plus Fixed Fee and Cost Reimbursable No Fee (CRNF) Line-Item type contract to John Hopkins University/Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU/APL) for Minotaur Rapid Reaction and Prototyping Engineering Support. The Minotaur Mission Processor software (MMS) provides integrated capabilities for building, disseminating, and exploiting real-time tactical all-source overland and maritime Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) information through an enterprise. The services are for Systems Engineering and Technology Evaluations to include intensive assessment of system capabilities to adapt and upgrade the current Minotaur Mission Processor software baseline for overland and maritime operations. The improved system capabilities will allow for the continuation of critical services to support the timely implementation and retrofit activities to install the Minotaur Mission Processor and its associated software baseline onto manned and unmanned Air and Marine Operations (AMO) aircraft, providing each aircraft with overland and maritime surveillance capabilities.

The total potential value of the award is $32,503,601.00 fora Base plus 4 option Years. This is a non-competitive contract action under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii) - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
