In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 8127 (Public Law 109-461), this project is a competitive Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned
Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside.
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision, and perform all work necessary to
prepare site for building operations and complete Project 613-126 Renovate/Expand 47-Bed Domiciliary Pod B.
This project must be completed in accordance with the Specifications, Drawings, and supporting attachments included in
the package.

This project is being solicited and will be awarded under the VA's Minor Construction program.

No award will be made to projects that exceed this maximum cost limit.

Background
This project is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) under the authority of 38 U.S.C. ยง 8127, which establishes a competitive Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside.

The goal of this contract is to renovate and expand the 47-Bed Domiciliary Pod B at the Martinsburg VA Medical Center (VAMC), located at 510 Butler Ave, Martinsburg, WV 25405. The project aims to enhance facilities for veterans and ensure compliance with VA standards.

Work Details
The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to prepare the site for building operations and complete the renovation and expansion of Pod B. The work includes:
- General construction and alterations
- Construction of roads and walks
- Grading and drainage
- Mechanical and electrical work
- Utility systems installation
- Removal of existing structures as necessary
- Specific tasks outlined in deduct alternates including re-roofing, skylight replacement, countertop installation, HVAC system modifications, and construction of new addition interiors.
