This is the Minneapolis VAMC Blood Bank Products Solicitation Posting.

Background
The Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) is seeking to procure blood bank products and services to support its healthcare operations. The goal of this contract is to ensure the availability of essential blood products and transfusion-related laboratory testing for the Minneapolis VAMC, thereby enhancing patient care and operational efficiency.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the Minneapolis VA Healthcare System with the following blood products and services, as specified in the schedule of items. The quantities listed are estimated yearly requirements and may vary based on actual needs. All products and services will be requested on an 'on demand, as needed' basis. The contractor must also be able to supply unexpected blood products or tests not listed but available at open market prices.

5. Platelets, PAS LVDS (Large Volume Delayed Sampling) - 15 units
6. Platelets, PAS LVDS (Large Volume Delayed Sampling) Irradiated - 15 units
7. Frozen Plasma (Frozen within 24 hours) - 300 units
8. Cryoprecipitate AHF Pooled - 65 units
9. Granulocyte, Apheresis - 1 unit
10. Platelet Crossmatch testing, Neutrophil Lab - 5 tests
11. RBC Ag Neg 1 per unit - 50 tests
12. ABO Type - 10 tests
13. RH Type - 15 tests
14. Antibody Screen - 5 tests

24. Neutrophil Antibody ID - 10 tests
25. HLA Antibody Screen - 7 tests
26. Platelet Antibody Screen-HLA Testing - 7 tests
27. Platelet Antibody Screen-Neutrophil - 5 tests
28. AB PLASMA SURCHARGE - 40 charges
29. Misc Emergency Blood Products or Testing Services - as needed.
