Miniature Air-Launched Decoy (MALD)

This requirement is for life-cycle support services required to support the Miniature Air Launch Decoy (MALD)/ Miniature Air-launched Decoy-Jammer (MALD-J). The Government intends to award a sole source contract pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 to Raytheon Missile Systems. The anticipated contract will be a five-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) effort. This services procurement entails the program management, logistics support and sustaining engineering required to support the Operations and Support (O&S) phase of the systems life-cycle, and requires the expertise to provide continuous surveillance of system safety, reliability, performance, and effectiveness.
The Government invites all sources who feel qualified to submit proposals and technical data for review, but the Governement requires that the awardee of this effort be ready to perform upon contract award. It should be noted that this requirement will not be delayed for qualification purposes. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed.
