Mingo JCCC Inspect and Test Fire Alarm Systems   4

Background
This solicitation is issued by the USDA Forest Service for fire alarm testing at the Mingo Job Corps Conservation Center located in Puxico, Missouri. The contract aims to ensure that life safety systems are operational at all times to protect building occupants in emergencies. The requirement includes a base period plus four option years and is subject to the Service Contract Act.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all personnel, labor, equipment, tools, materials, instruments, meters, gauges, test equipment, transportation, supervision, and other items necessary for inspection and testing of Fire Alarm Systems at Mingo Job Corps Center.

The services include:
1. Conducting yearly Fire Detection and Alarm System Inspection and Testing according to applicable OSHA standards and regulations.
2. Inspecting each fire alarm system in various buildings as per the attached inspection schedule in Appendix A.
3. Providing separate inspection reports for each system tested/inspected within fourteen days of the inspection. Reports must include details such as Job Corps Center Name, Building Number and Name, Inspection Results (Pass/Fail), Recommendations for Repairs if needed, Date of Inspection, Inspector's Name and Signature.

Period of Performance
The contract period of performance is from November 15, 2024 to November 14, 2029 with options for four additional years.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Mingo Job Corps Center located at 4253 State Highway T., Puxico, Missouri 63960.
