Description

Mine Safety Appliances (MSA) shock-isolation mounted model X5000 hydrogen sulfide (H2S) Gas Monitors
and manufacturer-specific ancillary equipment, including a compatible Fleet-qualified controller, replacement
H2S sensors and printed control board (PCB), test gas samples, and X5000 calibration kit and mounting
accessories., as detailed in the attached combined synopsis/solicitation.

Background
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared by the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) under Subpart 12.6. The solicitation is intended to solicit only one source, MSA Safety Sales, LLC, for Mine Safety Appliances (MSA) shock-isolation mounted model X5000 hydrogen sulfide (H2S) Gas Monitors and manufacturer-specific ancillary equipment.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide Mine Safety Appliances (MSA) model Ultima X5000 Gas Monitors with shock isolation mounting and MSA-specific ancillary equipment, including a compatible Fleet-qualified controller, replacement H2S sensors, printed control board (PCB), test gas samples, Ultima X5000 calibration kit, and mounting accessories. The GasGard XL controller shall possess specific features as detailed in the solicitation. The quantities and unit prices for each item are specified in the attached minimum specifications.

Period of Performance
The delivery date for the supplies/services is June 30, 2023.

Place of Performance
The products are to be delivered to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock at 9500 Macarthur Blvd, West Bethesda MD 20817-5700.
