Description

The MRAK is a Stryker deployment kit that enables the Stryker Infantry Carrier Vehicle to operate a mine roller. Without an MRAK, only a Stryker Engineering Support Vehicle is equipped to operate a mine roller. The mine roller provides mine proofing of a cleared route, detonating mines by exerting a downward force of at least 400 kilograms on each roller.

The United States Government is acquiring Mine Roller Adapter Kits (MRAKs) to support its Strategic Objective requirement based on the Stryker Organizational Requirements Document. The contract is sole source to General Dynamics Land System under the authority of 10 U.S. Code 3204.
