Background
The Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Acquisition Directorate (AD) is seeking potential and capable vendors for a Mine grid material procurement at the Raven Rock Mountain Complex, Fort Detrick, MD. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry, including small businesses and other socio-economic categories.

Work Details
Raven Rock Mountain Complex has a requirement to purchase Mine grid material for mine roof control, to recover longwalls, support ribs and reinforce highwalls at their unique location. The Mine grid must be manufactured from high-tenacity polyester and coated with a flame-resistant, anti-static coating. It should be Flame-Retardant, Anti-Static (FRAS) compliant, meet all Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) Requirements, have yellow color coding for best visibility even in very low light conditions, high-tensile strength of 35 kN/m as standard, roll size of 16.41' x 164.1' = 299yd² per roll, resistant to chemical degradation, low elongation/less deformation, non-corrosive, and have ease of installation due to low weight/high strength.

Delivery will be 30 days after award date.
