Description

The NIH-CC requires MIM software licenses and maintenance. This purchase is needed to maintain our current MIM Research products at their latest revision levels and to provide technical support for those products, when necessary. This package provides is an image analysis and visualization tool maintained by RADIS/CC on behalf of NIH.

Justification: MIMsoftware is the vendor of our set of MIM licenses and medical imaging processing application. As such, they are the sole source of capable of maintaining and upgrading our set of MIM Research licenses and application. MIM is in daily use by RAD&IS for critical patient care. Continuity of analysis and clinical utility is vital to patient care and research data integrity. We have been using this software for several years clinical and over 10 years in research projects. This software also provides the console' capabilities for the Veriton SD400 SPECT/CT scanner in RADIS Nuclear Medicine acquisition modality. Veriton worked exclusively with MiMSoftware to develop those capabilities. There currently are no other official resellers/vendors that we know of.

Requirements:

  1. 1x MIM-EN-SD; MIM SD upgrade to MIM Encore - Single User, License to be added to an existing MIM SD License
  2. 1x SAM-MSMU-YR01; MIM Software Upgrades - MIM Software Upgrades including Support Services for a period of one (1) year. Coverage is for one (1) MIM SurePlan MRT Concurrent License.
  3. 1x SAM-MSMU-YR01; SAM-MSMU-YL01*MIM-SSSTSU - MIM Software Upgrades including Support Services for a period of one (1) year.
  4. 3x SAM-MSMU-YR01; SAM-MSMU-YL01*MIM-EN-CC - MIM Software Upgrades including Support Services for a period of one (1) year.
  5. 1x SAM-MSMU-YR01; MIM Software Upgrades -MIM Software Upgrades including Support Services for a period of one (1) year. Coverage is for one (1) MIM SD Concurrent License.
Background
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is dedicated to uncovering new knowledge that leads to better health for everyone. The NIH Clinical Center (CC), a 234-bed federally funded biomedical research hospital located in Bethesda, Maryland, serves as the delivery setting for all NIH intramural clinical research protocols. This purchase is essential for maintaining current MIM Research products at their latest revision levels and providing necessary technical support.

MIMsoftware is the sole vendor capable of maintaining and upgrading the MIM Research licenses and applications used daily by RAD&IS for critical patient care, ensuring continuity of analysis and clinical utility vital to patient care and research data integrity. The software also provides console capabilities for the Veriton SD400 SPECT/CT scanner, developed exclusively with MIMSoftware. There are currently no other official resellers or vendors available.
