Furthermore a few companies other than MIM can provide portions of the required need (e.g., nuclear medicine contouring) but an integrated systems is needed to ensure compatibility of the data and efficiency. The MIM Software Inc. technology that is sought is available only directly from MIM Software Inc. Such was determined via internet search, conversations with experts in nuclear medicine and radiation oncology, and conversations with personnel of MIM Software Inc.

Some of the required/requested properties that are only available from MIM Software Inc. are landmark-based deformation, derivative-based algorithms for identification of differentials of uptake, seamless subtraction workflows for visual analysis of ictal and interictal scans, efficient gradient-based thresholding tools that have been demonstrated to be accurate and reproducible when applied by various users, workflow customization within a framework with intended extensibility, and multiple, extensive, unique organ atlases.

Although a few vendors provide nuclear medicine data and image analysis software, it has been determined that only MIM software Inc. has product that meets all requirements of this request.
