Background
The solicitation is issued by the Norfolk Naval Shipyard for a military construction project (MILCON) designated as P1062. The goal of this contract is to modernize Dry Dock 3, which is crucial for the Navy's operational capabilities. The modernization aims to enhance the structural integrity and operational efficiency of the dry dock facilities at Portsmouth, Virginia.

Work Details
The Dry Dock 3 modernization project includes several major components:
