Background
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is a Department of Defense entity responsible for research and development, test and evaluation, engineering, and fleet support for the Navy’s ships, submarines, military watercraft, and unmanned vehicles.

This procurement is aimed at addressing obsolescence issues with the LHD/A Class Machinery Control Systems (MCS), specifically to replace legacy Operator Station Units (OSU) components on LHD/A ships with modernized hardware. The Rugged Science MilCortex 4000 has been identified as a suitable solution to meet the requirements of the MCS Tech Refresh.

Work Details
The contract involves the procurement of 67 units of the MilCortex 4000 Standalone Brick Computer, part number REC-MC4006-01-K. The specifications for each unit include:

- Intel 12th Gen i7-12700TE CPU
- Integrated TPM2.0 Chip
- 16GB RAM
- (1) 512GB SSD
- (3) 2.5GbE RJ45 LAN ports
- (1) 1GbE RJ45 port
- (4) RS232/422/485 COM ports
- (6) USB3.2 ports
- (16) GPIOs
- (4) Independent Display Ports:
- (2) DisplayPort: Up to @60Hz
- (1) DVI-I: Up to 1920x1080 @60Hz
- (1) HDMI: Up to 4096x2160 @60Hz
- Power Input: DC 9V to 50V
- Supports Windows 10, Windows 11, and Linux
- Front access RTC battery
- Mounting bracket with specific dimensions for installation. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 75°C and storage temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.

The products will be delivered to designated government locations as specified in the contract.
