Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This is NOT a solicitation, but market research to determine potential sources to the MIG-17 Warbird Performer on Keesler AFB, MS as described in the attached Performance Work Statement.

Interested parties should include their company name, address, phone number, point of contact, CAGE code, company size status, and whether or not they are a U.S. or foreign-owned firm.

This notice does not constitute a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. Further, we are not at this time seeking proposals; therefore, DO NOT request a copy of a solicitation or submit a proposal as a result of this notice. Responders are advised the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this sources sought and that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. All costs associated with responding to this sources sought will be solely at the responding party's expense.

Background
The U.S. Air Force is seeking potential sources for the MIG-17 Warbird Performer at Keesler AFB, MS. This contract aims to provide aerial aircraft demonstrations during the Keesler AFB Thunder Over the Sound-Air & Space Show, which is a public event designed to showcase military aviation and promote community engagement.

The contractor will be responsible for performing aerial demonstrations in accordance with specified regulations and guidelines.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and services necessary for aerial aircraft demonstrations with two MiG-17 aircraft. Specific tasks include:
- Performing one night performance with one aircraft and two performances with two aircraft on designated show days (1 & 2 November 2025).
- Making the flight demonstration aircraft available for static display before or after each flight during the open house.
- Attending daily pre-show briefings and adhering to weather minimums as outlined in AFMAN 10-1004.
- Ensuring compliance with Federal Aviation Regulation Waiver (FAA Form 7711-1) and maintaining safety protocols throughout the event.
- Not soliciting donations unless authorized as a legitimate 'War Bird' 501(c)(3) organization and ensuring no DoD endorsement is implied in merchandise sales.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from 30 October to 2 November 2025, covering pre-show activities, rehearsals, and airshow performances.
