Microwave Relay Replacement

Background
This requirement is for the Contractor to engineer, furnish, install and test (EFI&T) a replacement for the microwave link on Camp Bullis between Building 5010 and Rodrigues Hill radio site. The microwave radio system will provide a relay of signals from the Lackland AFB ELMR system to the ELMR equipment at Rodriguez Hill. The replacement system will upgrade the existing microwave link from a T1 to an Ethernet link operating at 10/100 Mbps or greater.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, tools, materials, transportation, labor and any other incidentals required to replace the Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) – Camp Bullis Microwave Relay. Specific requirements include geo-technical data, GPS/GIS documentation, frequency management, approved products list, J/F-12 certification, link encryption, EMI & Link Analysis, grounding and lightning protection, installation of RF cabling, cable labeling, installation of new microwave systems/antennas, testing the new microwave system, and final grounds cleanup and restoration.
