Mezzanine

Background
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation is being issued by the Minnesota Army and Air National Guard for the procurement of Mezzanines. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

Work Details
The Minnesota Army and Air National Guard has a requirement for 2 Mezzanines to be used to store parts, bench stock, and special tool kits for a military maintenance facility. The size of each mezzanine should be 12’x24’ with 8’ deck clearance, and the decking should be 3/16” smooth or plate flooring. Each mezzanine must include one stairway that is internal to the frame, a kickplate (at least 4”), a railing, and must be rated for at least 5,000 lbs.
Additionally, each mezzanine must have a removable panel on the end large enough to accommodate a forklift dropping a standard pallet on the mezzanine. Vendors are required to submit a drawing along with the solicitation response. The mezzanines must be stand-alone, self-supporting, floor anchored, and all connectors, parts, anchors must be included in the purchase - no welding on site should be required.

The closing response date for this solicitation is September 5th, 2023, with an anticipated award date of September 7th, 2023.
