MetaVR Simulation Virtual Reality Scene Generator (VRSG)

THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS! The Technical Data Management Division (TDMD), Systems Readiness Directorate (SRD), U.S. Army Futures Command (AFC), Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC), Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC), Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, has a sole source requirement for the MVRSimulation VRSG v6.5 Software Maintenance Renewal. This is a Sole Source with MVR Simulation, Inc. IAW FAR 13.501(a)(2)(i). IAW FAR 5.207(c)(15). MVR Simulation, Inc. is the only source capable of fulfilling the Government's requirement of the software renewal and maintenance for MVRSimulation VRSG. The MVRSimulation VRSG is a Microsoft DirectX-based render engine that provides geospecific simulation as an image generator (IG) with game quality graphics. MVRSimulation VRSG supports the typical features required for image generators used in flight, ground vehicle, and infantry training simulators, and many other military simulation applications. MVRSimulation, Inc, VRSG v6.5 Software Maintenance is the only known available software that is compatible with the whole world terrain database that is used with the ANVSIL flight simulators. No solicitation documents exist at this time. This item utilizes North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 511210. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii) All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. ACC-RSA will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice.
