REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: MAY 18, 2018
This is the official Request for Proposal (RFP) for Metal Plating remanufacturing of existing (known) and future (unknown) 309 Missile Maintenance Group (309 MMXG) assets and 309 Commodities Maintenance Group (309 MMXG) assets at Hill AFB and Vandenberg AFB.
The purpose of this contract is to provide metal plating and remanufacture of assets to specified tolerances and finishes. Contractor shall receive assets in an "as disassembled" "F" supply condition code, perform a physical inspection, complete the required plating processes as applicable to each asset type, and then return all assets to the Government in a supply condition code "A." The contractor shall track and document all work completed on each asset. Typical work requirements to provide "A" condition assets built to specifications includes mechanical grinding and honing, minor machine work, finish grinding and honing, line honing for alignment, polishing, buffing, and other similar finishing processes.
Attached to this posting is the Solicitation and all accompanying attachments, including the Past Performance Information (PPI) tool which is used to submit past performance information.

Attached to the posting is a Question/Comment Resolution Matrix. All questions are due no later than June 1, 2018. Government responses to all questions will be posted to FBO on approximately June 11, 2018. If questions are proprietary in nature, please indicate on the Question/Comment Resolution Matrix.
