This Request for Information (RFI) is issued in support of the anticipated acquisition of Automated Litigation Support services for the Department. Automated litigation support encompasses a wide range of professional services and products that help attorneys acquire, organize, develop, and present evidence throughout the course of litigation, from pre-filing investigation, through complaint, discovery, and trial, through post-trial briefs and the appeals process. Contractor personnel will furnish administrative, logistical, professional, and technical labor, supplies, equipment, facilities, materials, and technologies necessary to provide a wide range of professional services and products through the course of litigation. The purpose of this request for information will be used to determine the acquisition strategy regarding small business participation, through this Request for Information, the DOJ is requesting the capabilities and past performance of small business contractors interested in providing these services. Please see the attached RFI for all further details, please only respond as specified in the attachment.
Background
The Department of Justice (DOJ) is seeking Automated Litigation Support services to assist attorneys in acquiring, organizing, developing, and presenting evidence throughout litigation processes.

The DOJ aims to enhance its litigation support programs across various divisions including Civil, Antitrust, Civil Rights, Criminal, Environment and Natural Resources, Justice Management, Tax, and the Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys.

Work Details
Contractor personnel will provide a wide range of professional services and products necessary for litigation support.

Tasks include document acquisition, database creation and utilization, electronic data acquisition and production, pre-trial and trial support, resource planning and administration, specialized professional services, contract and project management, and legal support.

Contractors must also be able to perform forensic data collection from various sources within two business days, ingest large volumes of data weekly, convert image files efficiently for database use, provide managed web hosting solutions with specific analytics capabilities and uptime requirements, and establish a large document center in Washington DC to support extensive litigation needs including imaging millions of pages for online review.

Period of Performance
The contract anticipates a base period of twelve months with five additional option periods of one year each, totaling seventy-two months.
