Description

The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) intents to issue a Purchase Order to procure the switchgears outlined in Attachments 1 3 (Technical Specifications and Drawings). NREL reserves the right to award multiple Purchase Orders under this solicitation.

The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) is a national laboratory owned by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). NREL is managed and operated for DOE’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy by The Alliance for Sustainable Energy. The purpose of this action is to procure five switchgear systems as specified in Attachments 1 - 3. NREL reserves the right to award multiple Purchase Orders under this solicitation.

Work Details
The solicitation is for the procurement of medium-voltage metal-clad switchgear as specified in the Technical Specifications and Drawings located at Attachments 1 – 3. The five switchgear systems specifications are identified as follows:
Attachment 1: 34.5kV Switchgear PC-230A (IESS),
Attachment 1: 34.5kV Switchgear PC-230B (IESS),
Attachment 1: 13.2kV Switchgear for Addition to PC-130B (IESS),
Attachment 3: 13.2kV Switchgear ES-7 (SURAP), and
Attachment 3: 13.2kV Switchgear ES-8 (SURAP). Offerors may provide quotes for one, all, or multiple switchgear systems as listed above.
