The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is issuing this combined synopsis/solicitation for Medium Size Explosive Systems (MSEDS) and associated ancillary items and support services in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested in accordance with the attached Request for Quote (RFQ) 70T04019Q9CAP1002.
This is a full and open competitive acquisition for the award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The associated North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334517 with a business size standard of 1,000 employees.
Offerors are hereby notified that information about this acquisition, including the solicitation and subsequent amendments, will only be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website www.fbo.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO website to assure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Offerors are requested to review all documents carefully. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-01.
