Medical Vacuum Pump Replacement

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to replace existing vacuum system components at the Olin E. Teague VA Medical Center. The goal of this contract is to ensure the installation of new Ohio Medical vacuum pumps and control panels that are compatible with existing infrastructure and maintain specified system performance.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the removal of existing Ohio Medical vacuum system components and the installation of three (3) new Ohio Medical vacuum pumps (Part # 264377) and one (1) Ohio Medical control panel (Part # 219540 TS32A). The work includes:
- Inspecting the existing system and submitting a removal and installation plan.
- Disconnecting, isolating, and removing all existing vacuum pumps, control components, and associated wiring/piping.
- Coordinating system shutdowns with VA Engineering.
- Installing three (3) Ohio Medical VAC PUMP, RV, 20 HP units as direct OEM replacements.
- Providing necessary mechanical, electrical, and structural work including mounting hardware and electrical connections.
- Configuring pumps for lead/lag/standby sequencing as per OEM settings.
- Installing one (1) Ohio Medical Triplex Touch Screen Control Panel and connecting all sensors and alarms.
- Conducting full operational testing of all installed equipment and providing training for VA maintenance personnel.

60 days from Notice to Proceed.
