Medical Support Services (MSS) Ordering Period Extension

Background
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Enterprise Medical Services Contracting Division (EMS-CD) is responsible for providing medical support services to the Department of Defense (DoD) Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs).

The goal of this contract modification is to extend the existing Medical Support Services (MSS) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts to ensure continued provision of essential medical support services during a transitional period while a new acquisition program, MQS2-NG, is being finalized.

Work Details
The Military Health System (MHS) requires ongoing non-personal medical support services to supplement medical staff at DoD MTFs across the 50 United States, District of Columbia, Guam, and Puerto Rico.

The services include providing credentialed (privileged and non-privileged) and non-credentialed healthcare workers in various labor categories such as clerical, certified, specialized, and technical skills.

The extension will allow for continued placement of orders until the award and implementation of the MQS2-NG Small Business set-aside contracts. The existing MSS contracts will expire on 31 March 2025, and the extension will ensure that all Task Order performance concludes by 24 July 2028.

Period of Performance
The ordering period for the existing MSS contracts will be extended for seven months until 31 October 2025.

Department of Defense Military Treatment Facilities within the 50 United States of America, District of Columbia, Guam, and Puerto Rico.
