Medical Supply Products

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the

format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional

information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. No partial quotes will be considered. No partial awards will be made.

The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is

423450 Search, Medical, Dental, And Hospital Equipment And Supplies Merchant Wholesalers. The resultant contract is intended to be awarded as a one-time, firm-fixed price IDIQ contract. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2020-04. This requirement will be awarded on an all or none basis as a commercial item under the procedures at FAR Parts 12 and 13.

Purpose/Type of Contract

The purpose of this IDIQ is to provide the FBl's NOMU the ability to purchase a broad scope of medical supplies in support of tactical operations and training. In this capacity, emergency medical care is prepared for and administered. This requires maintaining a stock of medical supplies at each of the 56 FBI Field Offices and the Hostage Rescue Team (HRT) as well as a resupply and surge capability for large scale tactical operations or in response to natural disasters. The vendor must meet the requirement of having a diverse selection of medical supplies, in large numbers with the ability to rapidly deploy these items wherever directed by the FBI. They must have the ability to function from multiple warehousing locations to assure that the FBI can receive products if one location is no longer operational due to man-made or natural events. They must be able to conform products and packaging IAW FBI approved allowances for medical supplies. This entails custom supply kit, pre-stocked medical bags, specialized WMD medical equipment and various nontraditional medical equipment.

The purpose of this IDIQ is to provide a broad scope of medical supplies in support of tactical operations and training. The Government intends to establish a firm fixed price, single award, IDIQ. The IDIQ will have a sixty (60) month ordering period from the date of award with a Base Plus Four (4) Option Period.
