Background
The United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) requires Medical Instruction Support Services for the Special Operations Forces (SOF) medical courses offered by the Joint Special Operations Medical Training Center (JSOMTC), located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

The goal of the contract is to provide instruction and medical writing support in various SOF medical courses, including the SOCMSSC and SFMS courses. This contract is set aside for 8(a) certified small businesses and will be evaluated using a Best Value Trade-Off approach.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide services including:
1. Basic Services: Medical instruction and training writing support.
2. Program Management: Overall management, personnel planning, quality control, coordination, and deliverable submissions to ensure effective contract performance.
3. Instruction Management: Support daily operations of JSOMTC, maintain and update lesson plans, ensure instructor qualifications, advise military on course material development, conduct preventive maintenance checks on equipment, and alert the COR to any training deficiencies.
4. Instruction Support: Ensure faculty-to-student ratios are maintained as per published POIs; instructors must teach prescribed classes and perform various administrative tasks such as maintaining data systems and developing presentations.
5. Advanced Medical Instruction Support: Serve as primary teaching staff in multiple concurrently run medical curriculum courses, coordinate classes with Course Directors, and assist in evaluating new medical technologies.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance includes a 30-day phase-in period followed by an 11-month base year with four one-year option years, starting around January 1, 2024.
