The goal of this contract is to procure equipment that meets specific regulatory standards for medical waste processing, ensuring safety and compliance in handling medical waste.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery, installation, and training for a Brand Name or Equal Medical Waste Shredder.

The shredder must meet the following specifications:
- Motor capable of 5 HP, 208V 3PH 60HZ
- User-friendly interface for ease of operation
- Ability to cut/shred small items like syringes
- Cutting chamber minimum size of approximately 12” x 12” (width x depth)
- Must meet or exceed regulatory standards for medical waste processing
- Blades capable of shredding plastic, metals, textiles, syringes, paper, and cloth material; constructed of hardened, high strength alloy material
- At least a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty covering parts and labor
- Powered coat finish in standard color or equivalent to Traffic Blue RAL#5017
- Must include safety features such as overload protection and an emergency stop button.
