Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to procure medical gases and cylinders for the South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) and its clinics. The goal of this contract is to ensure a reliable supply of medical gases necessary for patient care, adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards.

This contract will be awarded as an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with a base year and four option years, allowing flexibility in ordering based on the needs of the facilities.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, supplies, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, and other items necessary to deliver medical cylinders and gases as specified in the Statement of Work. The contract includes:
- Medical gases including but not limited to oxygen, nitrous oxide, carbon dioxide, and others as listed in Attachment D.1.
- Medical gas cylinder rentals and emergency delivery services.
- Compliance with FDA regulations and specifications from the United States Pharmacopeia.
- Accountability for all medical gas cylinders during transport and handling.
- Delivery charges included in the price of gas; no additional fees unless specified for emergency deliveries.

Period of Performance
Base Year: October 31, 2025 – October 30, 2026; Option Year 1: October 31, 2026 – October 30, 2027; Option Year 2: October 31, 2027 – October 30, 2028; Option Year 3: October 31, 2028 – October 30, 2029; Option Year 4: October 31, 2029 – October 30, 2030.

Place of Performance
Multiple locations within the South Texas Veterans Health Care System including current and potential future outpatient clinics.
