Medical Expeditionary Systems (MEDXS)

Background
The Air Force Operational Medicine Information Systems (AFOMIS) Program Office is responsible for providing full systems life-cycle support to the U.S. Air Force Medical Agency (AFMED) and its mission of expeditionary medical support, Electronic Health Records (EHR), Public Health, and Aeromedical Evacuation activities.

This contract aims to deliver technical support for the Medical Expeditionary Systems (MEDXS) portfolio and life-cycle support for all Operational Medicine (OpMed) Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) systems used in support of the Air Force Medical Service (AFMS). The goal is to enable information dominance for USAF, Joint, National, and Coalition Warfighters through experienced personnel who understand the unique configurations of OpMed IM/IT systems.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a range of services including:
- Monthly Status/Financial Reports detailing tasks performed, status, issues, and anticipated actions.
- Technical support for MEDXS capabilities including strategic planning, design, development, engineering, test and evaluation, deployment, installation, operation and maintenance, logistics, sustainment, and program management.
- Support services must be available 24x7x365 in both in-theater and garrison locations.
- Project management tasks including functional analysis and technical support for engineering integration work.
- Configuration management to track software releases and maintain operational integrity.
- System engineering support to ensure MEDXS capabilities function as expected for end users.
- Conduct audits and troubleshoot software issues across various environments.
- Assist AFOMIS stakeholders with meeting preparations and documentation.

Place of Performance
Work will be conducted at various locations including AFOMIS Offices, AFCENT Headquarters, AFCENT Network Operations Support Center, AFCENT OpMed Sites, Fed-Ramp approved hosting facilities, Defense Health Agency facilities, contractor facilities, remote work locations as required worldwide including OCONUS sites such as Kuwait, Doha-Qatar, Riyadh-Saudi Arabia, Amman-Jordan.
